If you don’t already know from my – Skincare Products…..Do They Work? – blog. I’ll be posting about brands that I’ve trialled over the last year, in search for the ultimate cheat day solution to my almost impossible skincare workout.
Review number 3 is with Yeouth skincare range, specifically their products that contain retinol. WHY? Retinol seems to be the trending word regarding skincare, alongside gluten free & vegan.
WHAT IS IT? In short, retinol (& their derivatives) can be included in over-the-counter creams & serums, whereas a retinoid can only be prescribed by your doctor. HOW DOES IT WORK? Overall, this category is packed with anti-aging benefits. They stimulate the production of new skin cells, help to fade dark spots resulting from photo-aging, hyper-pigmentation, hormonal changes & blemish scars (Dr. Gross, 2018).
Here is my vlog on how Yeouth eye cream help me with post Ibiza & LFW self-care recovery!

So what did I try?
- 2.5% Retinol
- Caffeine to reduce puffiness
- Green Tea for combat ageing through anti-oxidants
- Hyaluronic Acid to aid collagen production
Why did I choose to trial this product?
As I approach the age of 40 yrs, I’ve notice age & hormonal related changes in my skin. My freckles that were once cute are now spreading into age/sun spots. My skin tires more easily if I put myself through stressful work situations & random dark patches/blemishes develop easily.
Hydrates the skin nicely without being greasy. Travel size so you can take it anywhere. Puts the bouncy back in the skin & evens skin tone. Can be used on the face as well as the eye area. Priced very reasonably.
Can cause irritation if it comes into contact with the eye ball itself. Cannot sunbath, or need to avoid sunlight immediately after application or day after use or irritations may occur.
Overall rating – 8/10
